ALL YOU CAN EAT - STEEL PANTHER Released 4/1/14
If you are wondering what it was like or miss going to see an 80's hair band play a live concert then stop sweating over your DIY time machine because it exists once again! With topless women, raunchy lyrics and celebrities trying to sing 80's rock classics, Steel Panther is one band that you can't miss.
ALL YOU CAN EAT is the third successful studio album from the comedy rock group with hits like "Party like Tomorrow is the End of the World", "Burden Being Wonderful", and "Glory Hole". The production on this album was taken more seriously than you think and the melodic choruses make you appreciate the musicianship of this comical band.
Rating: 9/10
Favorite song: Ten Strikes Your Out
Why not a perfect 10? Don't get me wrong, this album rocks and I love these guys, but I felt like this album was a little heavier than their past two albums. Also it seemed like there were a handful of fillers on this album unlike the past where maybe there would be one or two songs I skipped, I seem to be skipping 4 songs on this one. Still a 9 out of 10 means defiantly go get this album, but if you haven't heard the albums "Feel the Steel" or "Balls Out" make sure to do so as well.
Trivia: The singer Micheal Starr (Ralph Saenz) and guitarist Satchel (Russ Parrish) were once in a popular Van Halen tribute band called The Atomic Punks.
